From July 24 to 27, the 3rd National Symposium on Animal Biobreeding and Reproductive Technologies 2026 successfully concluded in Urumqi, Xinjiang. Focusing on cutting-edge fields such as biobreeding, reproductive technologies, gene editing, and embryo engineering, the symposium brought together numerous experts and scholars from universities and research institutes across China. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including innovation in biobreeding technologies and breakthroughs in key technologies, jointly exploring new pathways toward the high-quality development of biobreeding.

At the Conference Venue

Sinboda showcased its independently developed flagship product, the ScimaX Al-Controlled Single Cell In-suit Manipulator, at the conference. ScimaX attracted considerable attention from experts and researchers for its technical advantages in improving experimental efficiency, reducing operator-induced variability, and enhancing experimental consistency and reproducibility. Many attendees engaged in in-depth discussions with the Sinboda team on topics including automated microinjection, standardization of experimental workflows, and application requirements across different research scenarios.

The 3rd National Symposium on Animal Biobreeding and Reproductive Technologies

In biobreeding research, micromanipulation of oocytes and embryos is a fundamental step in gene editing, model animal development, genetic improvement, and reproductive technology research. However, conventional microinjection relies heavily on operator experience, making experimental efficiency, consistency, and reproducibility susceptible to human factors.
To address these application needs, Sinboda independently developed the ScimaX Al-Controlled Single Cell In-suit Manipulator. By deeply integrating AI vision, intelligent algorithms, and precision micro/nano control, ScimaX enables intelligent automation throughout the entire workflow—from sample recognition and automatic holding to precise injection and result recording. This reduces the heavy reliance of conventional embryo manipulation on operator experience and makes complex experimental workflows more standardized.
Sinboda will continue to focus on intelligent cell manipulation, pursuing continuous technological iteration and product innovation while advancing cell manipulation technologies toward greater intelligence, standardization, and engineering integration. The company is committed to providing stable and efficient intelligent solutions for research applications including model animal development, embryo engineering, and gene editing, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to support independent innovation and industrial upgrading in China’s biobreeding sector.
