The company was registered in August 2023, with core members originating from PI teams at the University of Cambridge and Zhejiang University. Currently, it has established multidisciplinary capabilities covering AI algorithms, advanced optics, micro/surgical robotics, electrochemistry, microfluidics, biochemistry, mathematical modeling, etc.; co-established a postdoctoral workstation with Zhejiang University; possesses a 6,000㎡ R&D and production base and a 2,400㎡ GMP cleanroom; and was selected as a Zhejiang Provincial "Seed Unicorn" enterprise in 2025.

In the year and a half since the team returned and established operations in China starting from March 2024, Sinboda has successively launched two independently developed, globally leading platforms—the AI-Controlled Single Cell In-suit Manipulator (ScimaX) and the Single-Molecule Conformation Immunoassay System (SimdaX)—constructing a multi-scenario product matrix covering research, clinical, and industrial applications; has established a closed loop from "R&D—Production—Sales", achieved tens of millions in revenue, and entered initial commercialization. The company has established close collaborations with numerous leading research institutions and industry partners, with customers spanning hospitals, universities, animal husbandry, biopharmaceuticals, and model organisms.
