Sinboda's Optical Team is led by Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Dr. Bing Li. With years of deep expertise in innovative optical path design and automation, the team has built a robust technological foundation. Microscopic imaging is a cornerstone of life science research, and driven by technological innovation, we have achieved breakthroughs in developing autonomously innovative life science instruments. Within less than a year of establishment, the team completed the entire cycle from R&D to market deployment, establishing three core technology platforms and launching two world-class innovative instruments:
ScimaX: A single-cell micro-nano manipulation system.
SimdaX: A single-molecule conformational immunoassay analyzer.
These instruments are clinically applied in non-invasive prenatal diagnosis using fetal nucleated red blood cells and early blood detection of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, marking the first step in reshaping industry standards.
Dr. Bing Li holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, where he served as a researcher under the mentorship of Sir David Klenerman (inventor of second-generation gene sequencing technology). His work on single-molecule imaging in neurodegenerative diseases laid the groundwork for Sinboda’s single-molecule conformational technology. Collaborating with the University of Oxford on T-cell oncology research, he developed an instrument for in situ manipulation of rare cells, paving the way for ScimaX. Dr. Li’s interdisciplinary expertise in chemistry, biology, pathology, and instrumentation enables him to translate scientific challenges into practical, high-impact solutions.
Team Expertise:
